The Court of Appeal in Abuja has put off the hearing on an appeal filed by Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by a federal high court.
In court today March 16, a panel of three Justices led by Justice Stephen Adah which heard other cases promised that another panel will be reconstituted to hear Oshiomole’s appeal. This occurred days after the court sent notices of hearing to parties in the appeal.
The Nation reported that shortly after the announcement was made, a female official of the court announced to a packed courtroom that a new panel has been set up to hear Oshiomole’s appeal on a later date to be communicated to parties later.
Oshiomhole who spoke to journalists after the announcement was made, said he would await the court’s decision in the case.
