Nigerian children break down in tears as they reunite with their parents who were stuck in the UK for 4 months due to the COVID-19 lockdown (video)

The heartwarming video of some Nigerian children tearing up after their parents returned home from the UK where they had been held up since March due to the Coronavirus pandemic, has gone viral.

Media personality, Lara-Wise Owoeye, who shared the video online, said her younger brother and his wife had traveled to the United Kingdon sometime in March for a 10-day trip but got stuck there due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

They returned home last week without their kids knowing, went into self-isolation at a different place. They had a COVID-19 test carried out on them and the result came back negative on Monday, July 21. They finally returned home and their children's emotions from their kids is heartwarming.
''Oh what a day.
“Daddy, I will not allow you go anywhere again” she said amidst tears as she clung to her dad.
Her dad is my kid brother.
He and his wife travelled to the UK in March. It was meant to be a ten-day visit.
The covid lockdown met them there.
Since March, the children have been on their own with their nanny and my brother’s mother in-law.
It’s been four months of everything imaginable for those kids.
Visitation was ruled out so we did virtually everything online.
They have been strong and have prayed fervently for their parents’ return.
It happened today.
Here, I share the very emotional family reunion.
My brother and his wife had arrived last week and had self-isolated and run their covid test. The result was released yesterday and they are both negative.
We planned a surprise.
I arrive the house ahead of them having called to tell the kids to get set for an outing.
They were set before I arrived.
Their parents made an entrance shortly after ...
We give God thanks for this family reunion. God has been good to us. He’s kept everyone in safety and in sound health.
Hallelujah.'' Lara-Wise wrote
